Course Description:
This one-day course provides a practical opportunity to see Applied SAFe® in action as an executable process implementation of the Scaled Agile Framework® (SAFe®). You will learn how to disaggregate SAFe into process elements, how to customize Applied SAFe on each framework level for specific needs of different endeavors, understand the benefit of executable Applied SAFe instances for an organization and how to reach compliance to reference frameworks like ISO standards or SPICE. This is the foundation that will support the growth of your processes for building complex cyber-physical systems – from teams to enterprise – simple to complex.

After this course, you should be able to:
- Explain and present the benefits of Applied SAFe®, such as:
- How to apply SAFe® as an executable process model in your enterprise
- Configure the platform for your context
- Extend the platform with your existing and proven processes
- Achieve compliance with your internal and external guidelines and standards
- Increase your change and adoption speed within given compliance boundaries
- Perform individual tests and demos on the provided personal playground for e.g. tool evaluation purposes
- Understand assignments of reference frameworks in the context of agile practices

Trainer:
Peter Pedross is the Founder of PEDCO and the Creator of Applied SAFe. He is a Certified Consultant in the “Scaled Agile Framework” since 2012 as well as in “Disciplined Agile Delivery”, and has a Diploma in Quality Management from EFQA. Peter was in the first ever SAFe class held in Switzerland with Dean Leffingwell as his trainer. Peter has experience in agile practices (XP) since 1999.
In the course of his career, Peter has authored publications and given lectures on the topics of Agile, DevOps, Scaled Agility in Regulated Environments, Architecture, Process Engineering, and Lean-Agile Requirements Engineering, in the USA, Japan, and in Europe.

Terms and Conditions and Cancellation Policy:
Course registration is considered binding when Safe Journey has issued the payment invoice.
In case of cancellation by the course participant with more than 10 working days notice Safe Journey will refund the full course fee. In case of later cancellation the course fee will not be refunded.
Safe Journey reserves the right to cancel the course with 5 working days notice if fewer than the minimum number of participants have registered and paid. Course participants can sign up for the same course on another date or get a full refund of the course fee.
Safe Journey reserves the right to decline participation if the course fee is not received in advance.
