ISTQB® Agile Test Leadership at Scale Course (ATLaS)
CERTIFICATION training course
Introduction
Business agility—the ability to respond quickly to market demands—depends not just on new ways of working but on a fundamental shift in culture and mindset. To achieve this, organizations embrace Agile, Lean, and DevOps principles, but one critical factor often holds them back: quality.
Without a strong quality foundation, agility cannot scale. If quality is siloed within specific roles or teams, organizations face bottlenecks, inconsistencies, and an increased risk of defects slowing down delivery. Traditional test management is no longer enough—organizations must move towards quality assistance, embedding quality at every level rather than confining it to a single team or function.
However, this transition is not without its challenges:
1️⃣ Redefining the Role of Test Managers – In self-organizing Agile teams, how do test managers evolve into quality leaders and coaches rather than process enforcers?
2️⃣ Ensuring Test Strategy and Governance Without Slowing Down Agile Flow – How can organizations maintain structured testing and compliance while embracing speed and flexibility?
3️⃣ Scaling Testing Across Teams and Frameworks – In large-scale Agile environments, how do you coordinate quality efforts across multiple teams while maintaining autonomy?
Why Attend an ATLaS Training?
The ISTQB® Agile Test Leadership at Scale (CT-ATLaS) certification is designed to address the challenges which many face in Agile organisations. It provides test managers, quality professionals, and Agile leaders with the tools to organize, scale, and improve testing and quality across multiple teams. The course equips participants with strategic approaches to quality, focusing on business agility rather than isolated testing efforts.
By shifting from traditional test management to a quality assistance model, organizations can build a culture of quality—one that integrates Lean and Agile techniques for continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and problem-solving. This ensures that quality is not a bottleneck but a driver of agility, allowing businesses to move faster while maintaining high standards.
Take the next step towards quality-driven agility with CT-ATLaS—because true agility is impossible without quality at scale.
